Prayer Group
A Time to Pray
“Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:19,20)
Why not join us in prayer? St Martin’s Church holds regular prayer meetings on the last Saturday of each month at 08.30 at the front of the Church’s North Aisle.
We gather together for 30 minutes to focus on and pray about all of those things that bind us together in faith and as a community. Our meetings, which are very informal, are based upon a selection of scripture that is read during the session. We either quietly meditate on the readings or pray aloud, whichever we feel most comfortable with, as the theme of the session unfolds.
Maybe you have never joined a prayer group before and are unsure of what to expect? Why not find out and join us at the end of this month at St Martin’s Church when we come together in Jesus’ name.
If you would like to request prayers from the group for your own friends or family please email Mike, our Rector.
