Royal British Legion
Remembrance Sunday is synonymous with the
Royal British Legion.
Each year, the Community of St. Martin's gathers
at the war memorial outside the Parish Hall to remember those who who fought and died in
wars around the world.
The names of those on the memorial are read out and two minutes of silence is observed after the Last Post.
Those gathered then walk the short distance
to the Parish Church for a
service of Remembrance.
All collections on that Sunday go towards the work of the Royal British Legion.
